On this auspicious day of Moola Nakshatram, it is traditional and highly beneficial to perform Saraswati Puja, especially for students and those seeking knowledge and wisdom.

Parents are encouraged to ensure that children begin their Vidyarambham (initiation into learning) or participate in Saraswati Puja on this day.

Durghashtami (also known as Maha Ashtami) is the eighth day of Navaratri, and it holds immense spiritual importance in the worship of Goddess Durga.

Mahanavami – Wednesday, 1st October 2025

Mahanavami (also called Maha Navami) is the ninth day of the Navaratri festival, celebrated with devotion and grandeur across India. It marks the penultimate day of Navaratri and holds great significance in the worship of the Divine Feminine (Shakti).

Vijayadashami – Thursday, 2nd October 2025

On this auspicious day, Shami Puja will be performed at our temple at 5:30 PM, followed by Lakshmi Laddu auction and Teertha Prasadam.

All are warmly invited to participate in the celebrations and receive the blessings of the Divine.

Atla Taddi – 9th October 2025 (Thursday)

Atla Taddi is a vibrant and significant Telugu festival observed primarily by married and unmarried women. It falls on the third night after the full moon in the month of Ashwayuja (usually in October), which aligns closely with Karva Chauth celebrated in North India.

18th October 2025 special Suprabhata Seva

On Saturday, 18th October 2025 (3rd Saturday), a special Suprabhata Seva will be performed for the deity at 11:25 AM, followed by lunch prasadam.

On Sunday, 19th October 2025, Masa Shivaratri

On Sunday, 19th October 2025, on the occasion of Masa Shivaratri, Abhishekam will be performed for Lord Shiva. Devotees are welcome to participate.

Diwali – Saturday, 18th October 2025

Diwali – Monday, 20th October 2025 – falls on Amavasya (New Moon Day). To ensure everyone can join, we have decided to celebrate Diwali together on the evening of Saturday, 18th October 2025.

The fireworks program will begin at 6:00 PM, following Lakshmi Puja and the distribution of prasadam. Those who wish to participate in the fireworks are kindly requested to bring their own fireworks.

Tuesday, 22nd October 2025, the holy month of Karthika begins

On Tuesday, 22nd October 2025, the holy month of Karthika begins. The tradition of lighting the Akasha Deepam (lamp towards the sky) will commence on this day. Throughout the month, the Akasha Deepam will be lit at the temple every evening.

On Nagula Chavithi there will be an Abhishekam performed in the morning for Subrahmanya Swamy.
